It is a lovely feeling when they feel safe enough to snuggle down on your hand. I have one of Mango doing this. But even if your arm feels like it is going to drop off or your fingers are cramping, you still don't want to disturb the resting beauty.  |

Awwww! It must be such a nice warm feeling. I can't hold my hand still enough for that.I think sometimes Joey doesn't want to be on my finger it shakes so much.

As both Dilly and Lovie are flying, we go through a lot to put and keep them in separate rooms. In spite of all these efforts, Dilly somehow sneaked in to Lovie's room and landed on his cage. Despite shouting, running and trying to grab Dilly from cage top, it took Lovie a split second to grab Dilly's foot in his beak. Thankfully, there was a cage bar in-between which bore most of the beak power, otherwise Dilly could have lost a toe. I haven't heard a budgie scream so loudly  See why I'm not a fan of Lovebirds  |

Now that is confidence & trust. Whilst it rather ties you down a little BB it must feel very satisfying. Yeah, I realized that typing with one hand is not fun |

It doesn't shake so much then but the finger twitches. It's my age I'm afraid. I have to be careful when trying to get him to step up that I don't knock him off the perch. Seriously, sometimes I do hit him gently with the finger. I just wish he would climb on the finger without having toi get too close to him. He will do this when out of the cage without any command. |
