Stop it, Mummy B!! Stop it! I said STOP IT!!! I see more strength in her legs as well - she is sitting up now rather than rolling about.

In that video, Dilly is saying "Lay off the wings, buddy, and get me some food."

In that video, Dilly is saying "Lay off the wings, buddy, and get me some food." That's exactly what she wanted to convey

The air bubble can be seen in the second picture. I had to burp her.

Is that the beak I can see changing from the soft fleshy one to a hard strong one? I do notice the length of the front claw is quite long. At this rate of growth will she be covered in feathers and standing in the next 10 days or so? I've never seen this stage of a budgies life before. I did watch the growth of a clutch of Peregrine falcons, from egg to fledging via a webcam. That was very interesting. But this is much more intimate and detailed. Fascinating!

It's an amazing insight for me as a non-breeder.

Yes, the beak is getting stronger by every day Their feet and claws always look bigger, and they sort of grow their body to match it. Their body start to cover up with feathers from third week and they are flying in the fourth week, or by the end of it.
