BB, this might be a weird question, but do you use the standard English names for the budgies' colours, or do you use words from your native language?

Almost all my budgies have standard English names. Earlier we did name them in native language but it looked very odd. Imagine a guest asking a budgie's name and realizing it's his name too ;D So we stopped doing so. Some of them still have old names.

John, meet John. He's not quite as fluffy as you, or as Green!

I meant like Yellow Face Type 1 Cobalt. I only ask since they originally came from English names, I thought you might still use the English terms as sort of 'official' names for the mutations.
Like we use a lot of French words for cooking tasks.

There are very few budgie owners and hardly any breeders in this part of the world. So no work done on budgies at all. So the mutations are the same as standard English. Even pronounced the same way in the local languages. Although the sounds have changed due to the languages characters. Like in some places SPANGLE is called SBANJLE.
