just a quick update roof trusses are up and fixed next the roof,thought i would start a running total on spend total so far £12.36p on joist hangers and screws all materials have been sourced from local skips regards gerwynmr2

just pickedup the doors for the new shed ,i love this foraging cost 0 and the one with 2 panes of glass is almost a perfect fit for the front ,well happy regards gerwynmr2

do you need planning brian, its of wooden construction... its not Structurally tied in to the house.......or the floor... and can be taken down without structural damidge to the house...or the floor... i dont think it needs it....

You may be right Mick,but if access is obtained from the house it is classed as an extension to that house, you only need a jealous neibour and.........

hi brian 1,no planning needed as it is not of a permanent structure there is no access to the house from it ,i had a timber shed of a similar construction method there a few years ago and no problems with neighbours since then i bought the house and when i did i purchased all the boudaries including the retaining wall ,i know what you mean about the neighbours got one living oppositte to me got to be careful of at the back of house thats why on my big build project i have even measured a metre in from all boundaries just to make sure the footings are correct distance

when i get the door fitted and all the pvc cladding done, now you think about it it will look like a new extension to the house ,ah well they have a shock when they see it full of budgies
