Well what do you know, when the cover came off this morning all was quiet and they were both at both ends of the cage. It looks like Joey roosted in one of his favourite places and Whiskers may have found his. I put some of my new crop of millet grass in yesterday, Joey was all over it in a breath, Whiskers not yet. They are both trying to feed from the same seed silo and it not big enough, Joey seems to be the one loosing out. I'll be glad when the new silo arrives and maybe they will have the sense to use both silos.

OP, I'm in and out of things at the moment (but NOT because of mice, thankfully!), but from what I have been able to gather from the little I've read, things seem to be going well. It was such a delight to watch Joey and Whiskers meeting, and your new avatar lifted my heart! Well done for all you are doing! Enjoy!

Aw. That's brilliant. Joey looks so happy to have a new friend for company. You can tell by the way his eyes are squinting with happiness. And Whiskers is pleased to have someone to play with.

Joey has been out on the play gym waiting for Whiskers to join him, but he didn't so Joey jumped down on to the top of the cage trying to coax Whiskers out. Whiskers wanted to be there but hasn't worked out how yet. Eventually Joey gave up and went back in the cage to be together. They are never apart for a moment.

My goodness they are being very polite, its usually a squabble at my feeders . This is strange because i want to try a couple of those feeders and i went to order a couple from pet-supermarket last night and the postage was more than the two feeders , where do you order yours from OP.

Thank you all. Since they have been back in the cage it's back to Whiskers trying to get close to Joey and Joey lunging with open beak. They are not fighting just a tit for tat thing. Whiskers is very impetuous and knocks seven bells out of anything near. He really goes for it as well. Here is a clip I caught on the CCTV camera. The lighting is poor and there is no audio. I hope you find it amuzing.
