As some of you know, I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks. I've been in Switzerland and whilst buying my kind friend some chocolate for looking after the budgies, hamsters and garden, especially during the heatwave, I decided to bring Billie back a little something too.
I've got her a Swiss cow bell! It's only small but she's not too keen on it at the moment. I'm hoping she will warm to it in a few days when she finds out what it does! Alfie is such a scared bird about these things that he had to make do with some boring old millet!
Anyone else bought their budgies presents from holiday?

Holiday? What's that? Haven't had one in such a long time, with all my animals I couldn't expect anyone to look after them. I don't mind though, I'd miss them all to much. I don't even like leaving my little dog for a few hours let alone a week or 2. I'm looking for a small foot stool right now as Teddy, the dog, is finding it hard to jump down from the sofa these days. he can get up fine but his old legs seem to find the jarring of jumping down too much. He's 13 years old now.
I love buying presents for my pets. Birds really have some wonderful ones. I bet it wont be long before Billie loves her new bell.

If I went on holiday I'd certainly be poking around looking for bird presents. I do it all the time as it is.

Starling queen what about one of those little steps you get for toddlers to get on and off the loo? You could always pad it with foam and cover it to make it a little softer.

We used to have a really great one of these ..... I know exactly what you are thinking of. Will help in her old(er) age getting up onto the couch,as well.

That's a great idea but I've ordered one of these www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000QSB97E/ref=twister_B00JUVEL6Y I think it looks nice and will add to the look of the lounge. Plus I can use it if I feel like a bit of meditation.

Oooooo, what colour?? I would have liked a teal/turquoise one but the blue is not really the right blue so I had to go with the brown one.
