Thankyou all for your comments. We are enjoying bringing our babies in to fly in the evenings. Willow will soon be going to a new home as a companion to a 94 year old lady. Last week Lemon escaped outside while transfering him. It was raining and windy and we spent hours trying to find him and were all so sad. Amazingly 24hrs later he came back! I suddenly saw him fly past the window and ran out to grab him. Poor little fellow was much lighter and VERY hungry. We are so happy to have him home again:D:D:D

That is the nightmare of all budgie owners.  You should consider yourselves very, very lucky that he came home. Phew! Don't let the little ratbag out of your sight from now on.  |
