How's the little imp doing today stace? He's been really good. The bad stuff in his gut is all gone, but he's still got a low level enterobacter bacterial infection in his crop. That's normal environmental bacteria that the birds would usually shrug off through natural defences, but he's picked up because his immunity is lowered through the illness. Vet says the natural antibiotic programme I've put him on for the next couple of months should get rid of that.
Aww he is doing so well the little fella! What Boo has got reminds me of what happened to the OH: My OH used to work for the Dover Docks and one of the requirements because he was dealing with live imports and exports was he had to have inoculations against rabies. This was a course of three injections and on the final one it brought his immune system so low that he caught mumps down one side of his face! Dangerous thing to get mumps as an adult though as if you are male it can make you infertile

It's the one where kids wore that funny face-hanky bandage with the knot on the top.
