I posted in another thread about Joey's poor feet, well here is a couple of pictures of them. They have been like this as long as I remember, so he has got used to them being like that.

The rear claw is twisted upwards. the normal curvature is downwards. The toe looks normal, but the claw/nail is wrong. It looks to have improved with time.

Oh yes, I can see it now. My guinea pig has claws like that but she has curly fur so I assume her claws twist for that reason. Not sure why Joey's do it though.

As I say they have always been like that so he has adapted. They don't seem to grow too long which is what I thought they may do. I put the pics up for Shirls to see so she may understand what I mean about the placement of perches. I would like to know why they do though if anyone knows.

His feet do look a bit unusual to me, OP. Are the toes on his right foot kind of joined together or is just the way he has them in these pictures? As you say, the main thing is that he has adapted well.

No his toes aren't joined, it is the way he is holding them. He tends to hold the long toe on his right foot straighter than any of the others. I think he hurt that at some stage. He can bend it and grasp perches, he just holds it out more. The feet feel nice when he is on the finger, not harsh like they look in the pictures.

Oh gets around without much bother. It's just certain things he slips up with. I can see the difference with Whiskers. He has improved with age. Which is more than can be said for me.
