Hi Guys Just wondered if you wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts on this one? It looks to me that Wiggy has got a bit of a swollen eye. It is not red or anything but his grey eyelid on one side is puffy/swollen. And for those in the know, whaddya reckon? Golden eye ointment or just a saline solution? Many thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions! Here is some pics:

Personally I would go with the golden eye. Poor Wiggy, hope he feels better soon.

Thanks for your quick reply! Gotta say that's what I thought of using starlingqueen but it does look swollen doesn't it? As I said it's not red and there is no blood or sign of injury so perhaps conjunctivitis? I will get some Goldeneye on it and hopefully that will sort it. As it's Wiggy he is so easy to handle so should be easy to administer (she says) Look at my poor boy!

It does look a little bit swollen, hopefully the golden eye will have it sorted out in no time.

Don't forget the cool wet teabag is good for these things too. I am not a big believer in using antibiotics unless necessary, and as you say it is not red ......... but hope he is back to normal asap.

Well have got the goldeneye today (as i couldn't get any yesterday) and have administered it. He has had his eye closed since yesterday afternoon until I treated him this morning and I am pleased to report he is opening his eye a bit more now He is also fine in himself, eating, drinking, normal poops etc so fingers and wings crossed just a couple of days treatment is all that is required.
