Don't know if you remember but Lacey was poorly not too long ago, regurgitating loads. Took her to the vet and as you will have guessed - Baytril was prescribed. Needless to say it really didn't make much difference. She has been poorly on and off ever since. Nothing I could put my finger on she just slept a lot, ate and drank as usual but ate lots and lots of grit. Well after reading loads of stuff on the internet and particularly that 'vomiting' thread the other day I took her to the vet again. We have another lot of Baytril, for 10 days this time.
Charlie is beside himself being separated from Lacey and visits her often when they are all let out.
Lacey remembers she got out through the seed pot hole last time so I have had to cellotape it down and put newspaper over it so it doesn't look like a hole any more!!!

I do hope they get to the bottom of her problems, Shirls. There is nothing worse than having this sort of thing coming and going. Get better for good, Lacey, please.

How is Lacey now @shirls ? She is now back in the cage with the others and is exactly the same I'm afraid. Perhaps not regurgitating so much but she does sleep a lot and she gets Charlie to feed her quite often. He is always by her side bless him. The vet did examine her and there are no lumps. So not really much to report. I am keeping an eye on her. I have some Baytril left, but I don't think it did much good in her case. I don't feel inclined to put her through loads of tests at the vet, especially as they are not avian vets. I feel she is quite content. Thanks for asking JennyB.

That's so nice that charlie is being such an attentive partner. Lacey must get a lot of comfort from him. Sorry to hear she's isn't all better. I glad she is contented though xx
