Hello Everyone, I'm new to this forum so i hope i'm posting this in the correct area. We have kept budgies for 42 years and enjoyed each and everyone of them, but unfortunately one week ago we lost lost Bertie (rip) at just 2 1/2 years old due to a respiratory problem and a tumor, just so sad. He was a fantastic talker, non stop all day while sitting on your shoulder, and even when covered over at night he didn't stop for some while. So now we have a very quiet house and we would like to get another young cock budgie as a pet from a reputable source. We live in North Norfolk, near Holt (East Anglia) does anyone know of any budgie breeders in this area please? Looking forward to enjoying all that's on this forum.Thank you.

Hi and welcome davita So sorry to hear of your loss, they do make such an impression for a little bird don't they? But am so glad you have decided to keep on owning budgies, as you now it is so rewarding! I am not from Norfolk area myself, but there are members on here that am sure will be able to help you with any breeders that they know of. But this link may help Pet Budgie Breeders DirectoryLooking forward to hearing more about you and your journey with getting your new friend(s)

Hello, and welcome, davita. I only wish it were in happier circumstances. Sorry you lost Bertie at too young an age. RIP little guy. I am no help to you either, in finding another feathered friend, but hopefully you will find someone soon enough. Good luck with your search.

Thank you Shirls for the warm welcome, we will post some pictures of our new one but it seems we have to wait for nature to take it's course, about 6 weeks the breeder said.

Hello Hezz, enjoying this forum a lot, such a warm and welcoming place. The list of breeders we were sent by another member has proved helpful but maybe a 6 week wait for a new one. Regards to you for 2015.
