When Woody had liver disease the first symptoms were laboured breathing, lethargy and drooping wings. He never showed any abnormalities of the beak. He was initially treated for a respiratory issue but an x-ray showed his liver was so swollen it was constricting his lungs. I also feed Harrisons (approx 50% of diet) and Woody is really good now.

Thank you people, for the input. Since I have really noticed that no, this is not going to go away, I have taken note that there are blobs of regurgitated seed that get dropped when he is feeding Mango. I can only deduce that the case of this is the oversize of his beak; she also turns her head completely upside down to be fed. So I not only have poop blobs around the house, but also seed blobs. I do admit to threatening him with eviction, if his hormones don't settle down soon. I may need an aviary - very soon!! birdguhl, do you have Woody on any on-going treatment?

No ongoing treatment, hezz. I was giving him hepatosyl ages ago but dropped this as he seems very well

Sweet! That is such good news for the little guy. I didn't realize he had been doing so well. Well done, you.
