Hi, I'm Mike. I'm still finding my way around this site. I bred exhibition budgies foe some years then, I moved abroad for 7 years, I have now returned back to the UK. I live in an unknown area to me now (Nottingham) and want to set-up and start breeding exhibition budgerigars again in the spring 2012. I will need some help in finding local breeders and equipment etc. Please, can anyone point me in the right direction. Many thanks

Hi mike welcome back to budgies again.once you start with budgies you just cant stop, its always in your blood. I am sure barrie will be able to tell you where the local breeders are for exhibition budgies or brian1 might know. He actually lives in nottingham also. I have just returned to budgies after two years but i dont have many budgies either, what i have are too old now.hopefully want to breed a few the end of next year. Welcome back. sue

Welcome Mike. What's it like to be home again? We do have a thread where people can add themselves as breeders and their areas.......now just where is it? Ah, no, it's members' websites and blog under Budgies, General, but have a look there you may come up with something. I thought we had a breeders "book" of people and their general area, but can't find it so I was probably dreamin'. Sorry! Good luck sourcing your needs.
