As I was examining the boys interior décor the other day I noticed that there was a slight (and I mean slight) bit of rust on the boys swing. Which enabled me to go out and buy another one and whilst we were at it buy some more things for them I bought another one of these (the longer one of the two as we have two small ones already) and a new ladder for one part of the cage as well (that they needed). I also bought a new (albeit very plain) swing, so upon coming home I reached for my bead the budgie bead box to see if I could jazz it up a bit I think we approve (I must point out here that Fat Boy Slim (aka Murph) ONLY got on here after Barney had to go and eat something as Barney was on it for most of the day?!)

Your boys are Brave Sam. Mine would have ignored it for at least 2 weeks before one of them attempted to land on it.

None of my buds sit on a swing. They will use it to get from one perch to another, but never sit on it.

Great looking swing samwiseg, my two love their swings, or anything else that moves when they jump onto it

Mine have a swing each to go to bed on, unless Jo fancies sleeping on the cuttlefish.

Everyone uses the swing apart from Wiggy - he has NEVER been on a swing, he daren't venture it (must be his age) But the swing was put in the same place Marianne Marlow so they didn't seem too phased that it was slightly different!

Sky is my oldest at eight and a half years. He has also not been on a swing.

Smudge has never been a "swinger" either. Everyone else fights over them.

I was actually surprised that my lot dont fight over the swings considering other members birds do! And as for the old swing I kept telling Murph he was too big for it and to go and sit on something else as he is rather a big bird Now it fits him JUST right so he is abusing the right!
