Maybe we should post a side by side Roswell and Wiggy separated at birth?

Sorry to hear Harvey still has Bumble Foot. Ruby is still fine and I have cut down on eggy biscuits as they were eating far too much in one week. Do you think it could be stress related?

I had to take Georgie (chicken with bumblefoot) to the vet today, so I took Harvey (budgie) along too, as he still has bumblefoot in both feet. I have been washing his feet in Cidal soap and applying the Fucidin cream (Isaderm) now for exactly two weeks with no visible signs of improvement. Is that the same Fucidin cream I used on Ruby? Mine says Fusidic acid 2%...doesn't say Isaderm on mine...what's Isaderm?

Looking on Google Isaderm is a gel used for dogs and is only 0.5% Fusidic Acid where as the one I used on Ruby is 2% Fusidic Acid and is a cream for people not animals, only available on prescription...I may be wrong but some of the ingredients look different to me.
I was washing Ruby's feet twice a day with Cidal soap and really massaging it in and then rinsing well, followed by the Fucidin cream twice a day...only needed a week and it was healed...been fine since.

He and Ruby could compare bumblefoot stories.

H2O - the Isaderm cream that I have is 5mg/g of fusidic acid and I got it from the vet. She said they don't call it Fucidin anymore it comes under the name of Isaderm. I know it says it's for dogs, but I now find I can get human fucidic acid in a cream from Amazon, it is called Brulidine. Unfortunately it doesn't give a list of the ingredients so I will delve deeper before I buy to make sure it is the right one. I did only wash Harvey's feet once a day in Cidal soap, so I will now try doing this twice per day and get some of this Brulidine. Previously I was under the impression (don't know where from) that you could only get Fucidin on prescription. Thanks for the information.

I find now that I can only get Fucidin cream for humans on prescription. So will continue on present regime and wash Harvey's feet twice a day with Cidal and apply the cream I have, four times a day.

Fingers crossed for little Harvey bless him Shirls sending all our love and healing vibes Speaking of weights I did my budgies weight today and results are as follows: Alfie 48 grams Wiggy 50 grams Barney 56 grams Murph 72 grams?!!!!! Murph is our biggest bird in size and also our worst flyer However I think I am going to have to start an exercise regime by using a perch to move up and down so fat boy slim flaps to lose some weight! Wish me luck!
