Hi guys, I'm a new member. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what variety or mutation of budgie my bird is, I only brought her home yesterday and she is young. Any advice would be great! Thank you.
My apologies - for some reason the images have rotated....?

welcome... pretty colours, although I couldn't tell from the picture properly, but in one, I wasn't sure she was even a budgie, lol
but others will be on who will know.

I think it's a parrotlet or conure of some kind. Never seen a budgie with red feathers. Maybe a Bourke's parakeet?

Hi davy, she's a lovely bird. Did you buy her thinking she was a budgie.

Hi guys, yes I had been told that she was a budgie, however the lady who usually looks after all the birds wasn't there when I'd bought her! I've just returned her as she was in the same cage as my budgie. The lady was pleased that i'd returned her, you were right - she is a bourke! They apologised and were happy to swap her over with the budgie I picked. I will post a picture a picture of her soon, thank you for all your help and advice.

davy, I don't know if you know this or not, but when buying a new bird, it should be quarantined for 4 weeks in another room altogether, incase it has any sort of infections/diseases that could be passed onto your other bird.
