Hello all,

My name is Helen & I've recently purchased two Budgies who go by the names of Nimbus & Willow. This is my first time owning birds of any kind and so I'll be needing lots of advice from those of you who are more experienced no doubt, aha!

Can't wait to get chatting to some of you & learning more about these beautiful birds.

Welcome to the forum Helen. I've not long joined this forum myself as I've not had my budgie long. The advice on here has been great, and I just wished I had joined sooner. I look forward to hearing all about your budgies.

Aw! Thanks for all of the warm welcomes! The birds are settling in just fine & I've had a little bit of success getting them to step onto my hand. They've found their food and water bowls which is a relief because I was worried they weren't exploring enough. I'm going down to pet store I work in a little later to get some Millet. I'm gonna try and use that as a little training prompt, aha!

I'll get some pictures up here later on today!
