I do hope your budgie recovers ok, that sounds horrific and brought back some awful memories for me and little bobby a green budgie I had some years ago who the vet thought wasn't worth treating......not going over that again... it was awful. Hoping it turns out well for your budgie

Aww that's it Marianne Marlow! I couldn't find it anywhere, my poor spelling no doubt. Have you used it at all? I haven't used one, no. I suppose I should get one just in case. When Sky broke a blood feather, I used flour, seemed to work.

styptics sting like hell. My dad used to use them when he cut himself shaving and he said it was painful. Flour is much gentler.
