mintysowner I envy you. If I tried to rub Jojos beak with my nose, she'd bite my face off.

Yes if I tried to rub my nose on Edwards beak I would probably lose the tip of my nose.

I was being rather derogatory towards Edward, she has stopped biting so much now. I am also glad I don't have a bird that was three times her size.

I can't rub noses or anything else with my two, but as soon as the oh comes Jo is there in an instant, kisses, nose rubs and anything else. Pippin goes straight to him to but does not like to be touched. So again here I am chief carer, bottle washer, feeder, ignored again!

That is one of the things that I love so much about budgies - you get back only what you give out, generally. I do all the giving, I feel it is my right and privilege to be the only one who receives the birds' attentions. Jo obviously didn't read the "owner" manual properly. Bad girl!

She is such a hussy, my theory is she likes to prune him and his whiskers and he has hard skin so when she pecks him it does not hurt that much. Me having such delicate skin, the little madam really hurts. She has days when she totally ignores him and then it is my turn or if I have a glass or food in my hand. Pippin typical can't be bothered as long as he has food, just copies her. When they were first brought home, Jo used to sleep under my hair, sit with me and was lovely, then she grew up and became a hussy. If I leave the room and she is out she constantly calls to me and makes a right din and if something frightens her then she comes straight to me. Oh goes out and they don't bother.

I hope she doesn't prune him too much; there will be nothing left of him!! As for you, you English rose, you ...... you'll just have to toughen up!!!

LOL! Its just, I know where I keep mine suesbird Speaking of which, before we went out yesterday my OH complained how long I was taking in the bathroom despite him already having been in there...he said: "what are you doing in there for heaven sake, you have been in there so long I was wondering if you had fallen in?!" to which I replied: "I have been cleaning up after YOU, you cheeky git!" How is it that men get water just about EVERYWHERE in the bathroom?! Or perhaps its just my OH
