The best laid plans! This looked so simple but I cant get it to attach to the cage bars (vertical, won't fit the horizontal!!) Has anyone else got one and can they show or tell how they fitted it please, I'm running out of patience, perhaps I should stop spoiling my budgies

Mmmm ive had some fun with these in the past, they fit perfect on my big cage which has vertical bars but on the other cages with horizontal bars sometimes i have to turn them upside down and even then they dont always sit right.

It's me it says landing platform but I thought it would fit inside the cage! Dur.....however, I've used it as a scaffold (?) between the two cages and it fits there! That's if it stays in place, if not back to - as you were buds - Tut!

If you cannot get it to fit well and securely, how about some plastic cable ties? These things never die, are budgie safe, and you can cut the ends off up close. Just a thought.

I hve two of those and you can fit them (outside the cage door, horizontal bars) either the right way up or upside down. Not sure myself which is the correct way up, but they fit my big cage fine.

Couldn't do this before as battery was on charge, but here are the two ways you can 'connect' the platform.

Thanks all, I've managed to attach it between the two cages which are 'locked' together with rope at the moment although I do have some plastic cable ties somewhere! They weren't terribly impressed at first, especially tiny Tyler bless him. Bonnie watches me like a hawk and tried it almost immediately! Tyler waited to see what happened, climbed about a bit trying to find another way through to be with Bonnie and eventually flew through like a world war 11 bomber pilot Good job he is tiny. They usually walk, skip or hop through They did have a wooden platform there but it was always getting pooped on, needed a lot of cleaning, it gives a little more space for flying too. We'll see how they get on, although Bonnie seems quite happy with it now, something new, something to rest on if necessary when moving from one cage to the other. I wonder if they'll rest on it like they did the wooden platform?
