Thanks all for well wishes, Tonsillitis has locked on to one side today which is somewhat of a relief, at least i can swallow liquid now, its been a killer Fran, he does make me laugh when he does it, it really is like a "im not ready for bed" tantrum, i put him in the main door to start rounding them up and by the time i had shut the door he had climbed round and up and out of the top door again, little Tyke . Yes i am waiting for the chorus of "we love you miss skysmum" when i uncover them one morning Bertie will be very pleased by the idea of his own blog and having his own fan club , he's a poppet and tomorrow i will have the time to give him some supervised time in with Jo although i don't think there will be a problem they are both such quiet little guy's and i think they would be perfect cage mates, i will let you know how they get on

Cheeky Bailey, very cheeky.
Tonsillitis is awful. Used get it way back. Are you able to gargle? A few drops tea tree in warm water or olbas might help.
I hope Bertie will like the new potential set up. Sounds like it would be perfect.

I haven't had it for years Fran and had forgotten how awful it is and how rough it makes you feel, i couldn't swallow at all for the first two days, ive had to have liquid anti b's because i couldn't even swallow tablets . I think tomorrow i could try and gargle with tcp maybe. OH got me some Olbas lozenges to suck and some strepsils but they hurt to much, stung, hopefully tom Yes Bailey is a crafty and clever little monkey for sure and i think Jo and Bertie could be a good match

Hope you feel better soon skysmum. I've never had Tonsilitis, but some sore throats I've had have felt like my throat is on fire, so I can only imagine Tonsilitis is even worse.

Bertie and Jo together sounds like a good set up. I hope they see it that way as well. Cheeky B. He doesn't want to abide by budgie-bed times.

Get well soon from me also Skysmum. These things tend to linger as the younger years leave us. Sounds like the buds are going to keep you from thinking about your tonsils too much.

Long may the friendship continue. I really hope this is what Bertie was needing; he and Jo can sit around the millet with their pipe and slippers.

All they need now is a rocking chair. Let's hope they have a happy life together. Keep on getting better Skysmum. I've already got my rocking chair, but I don't have the time to sit in it.
