hi all my budgie bites has anyone got any tips of how I can stop him he is friendly but really flies to my hand and bites many thanks

Hi and welcome ...... can we please see a photo of your little bird? First question: how old is he? Second question: is he really a he? Most budgies, in their teens (ie from about 4-12 months of age), go through a biting phase, and hens tend to bite more than cocks do. If your budgie fits this time frame, generally they mature and grow out of it, so it is up to you whether you wish to stop the issue or wait until they mature, or if the bird is older, then there are ways to divert his attention, stop play with time out, gentle but firm "no"'s or however you are comfortable in dealing with the issue.

I always go ''ah ah'' in a firm voice, always the same pitch, and put my finger to her beak slowly and leave it there, if she bites i let her and keep my finger still and saying nothing or another ''ah ah!'', after weeks basilina learnt it was naughty to bite and she now lets me stroke her chest even though she doesnt like it
