How i should treat her overall. I never had a female budgie before. So, let's say..overall. Would be quite appreciated, and thank you all for the kind approach.

Just treat her the same as you would any animal, with love, kindness, and lots of patience. You say you have never had a female budgie before, have you ever had budgies before. They are so much fun, you will have hours of entertainment from this gorgeous little one, when you see the fun you can have with one, it might make you want to increase your flock Just always make sure she has access to seed, and fresh water, and plenty of fresh vegetables. Do you have cuttlebone, oystershell grit, and iodine block for her, she will need these, and plenty of toys so that you can chop and change them on a regular basis, and if possible natural wood perches, these are good for their little feet, differing textures and sizes will give her feet exercise. Hope some of that helps.

Thank you, and yes i had a male budgie before. So..i guess i don't need to treat her differently than i would a male budgie, am i wrong? And, what are the "big" differences between a male and a female one. Thanks for helping me out.

Like any woman they can be temperamental at times, but extremely loving at others. Other than that there is not much difference in the keeping of them. Shower with love and attention just like you do with a girl friend/wife. They can be a chatter box at times, but they don't nag.

Others who have Hens might be able to help with this one more than me, I have only ever had Male birds. But the only difference that I know of, is the Cere of the cock is blue and brown in a Hen, when she is in breeding season the cere will go crusty, also hens tend to chew a bit more, so you might find her shredding the cuttlebone or iodine block, you could get her some balsa blocks to shred, things like that will help to keep her amused.

Yes, thank you. But they say female budgies tend to speak less, is that true? Even though i managed to get her to speak few words..i hope that isn't true.

Some talk and others don't. That is also true of males.

She is certainly all girl. Hens do tend to be more destructive, and inquisitive, fierce and protective. Do not have anything in her cage that could be seen as a nest. Make sure she has plenty of chewy toys to destroy. Does this lovely girl have a name?
