I work in the same room as my budgies, I'm on the computer all day an they're right beside me. The dog often comes there too, as he doesn't like to stay alone when it's just him and me at home. So I always was super paranoid about dander. I spent a lot of money on air purifying devices. Although they made air better, they didn't solve the dander issue, not by far. Still snowing. I didn't believe that those Vision cages were that great. I bought one as a "eh, let's waste some money on an over-rated cage" hopeful effort, when one of the cages I had broke. but... omg, the difference! absolutely no seed issue, fathers stay in too, maybe just a few fluffs fly out. And the most important thing- the dander stays in too. The dander around the cage and in the room is reduced to... maybe 10% of that it initially was. It's so radical, it gives one another perspective on having birds indoors. Absolutely great. Worth the money. Besides, they're also a very smart design... budgie-friendly. For smaller birds, like... lovebirds, budgies. I thing they're too small for tiels, though... even the biggest one, I think it's too narrow for tiels. And you can take the roof off if you wanna let them party. Super great. I recommend this cage to anyone who is concerned about dander.

I rate these cages highly too, I have two large ones. Quite hard to clean though!

Personally, I found it easier to clean, because it has a smaller bottom side to detach, and it detaches easier. And more silent. The bottoms from most cages have a tray, but I always found that tray useless, cause poop and seeds get over it anyway, and I have more to wash, afterall- the tray and the bigger part. Not to mention, getting the tray out is messy, as seeds and droppings fall out, the newspaper gets "tangled", etc...
