Hi everyone, I have had a look through and i think Lily (white) is an Albino with a blue suffusion. (ignore the food stains ) the blue has only recently come through, she started out pure white Gladys is really confusing me which one she is. who can help me out? and also, who can help me out with Gladys sexing? she seems blue some days and brown others. Thanks heaps in advance

I think you are right with Lily being an albino, although I don't know the subtleties of the albinos. I think from that third photo that Gladys is a boy, a green spangle, either normal or possibly olive-green spangle. The second photo shows up too small to be able to be of any use.

Cant see any blue suffusion in Lily but she is definitely an albino due to the eyes and agree with Hezz about Gladys about being a boy! Does Gladys sing a lot?

An albino and a dark green spangle. Both birds look male in those pictures. Remember that albino males will not get a blue cere

Thanks guys, is it just experience that makes you so sure? or is it really obvious and I'm a tad simple? I have been cruising mutation/genetics pages and its insane how many options there are.
also, there is a really subtle blue suffusion on lilly, but its hard to pick up with the camera.

I'd say it's experience and knowledge. If nev90 tells you the mutation of your birds, you can be certain that's what they are.

So.....Lily & Gladys.....are both boys (sorry!) I do think it's best personally, not to name them until the gender is established but I may be in the minority!
