My lovely Shannon had a pamper at the dog spa the other day. It was her first time there. Here's a picture from their Facebook page. I love spoiling my animals but do you think I'd go to a spa myself....no. I balk at paying for a haircut

Aww, she's a sweetheart Jane. You should have taken a before & after picture. I'm the same, I'd spend a fortune on the boys, and think twice about buying anything for myself 🤔

I know jellybean. My animals always come first. Some people think I'm mad, but who cares lol. I love them. Even when I was spending all that money on vets for Squawk it was having a real impact on my finances but I wasn't going to give up on him.

Ohhh bless that girl, she looks a bit worried, "what on earth are they preparing me for" I'm not sure my Tilly would be that well behaved

Ohhh bless that girl, she looks a bit worried, "what on earth are they preparing me for" I'm not sure my Tilly would be that well behaved They said she liked it, especially the massage brush where she was making groaning noises. Shannon does look a bit nervous though especially in the picture where she's licking her lips. It was her first time so I'm sure she'll get used to it. Shannon loves attention so I thought she'll be fine. She stuck by me like glue the rest of the day, she was probably worried that I had left her somewhere strange. No way could I take Pickles though he'd hate it. Do you remember when Easipetcare had Easigroom? I took them both for a bath there once. Took Shannon first, Picky and I browsed the shops while she was in there. I got a call when she was ready to collect and dropped Picky off. About 15 minutes later they called me to collect him as he was frightened. She managed to wash him, but couldn't dry him. She attempted to with a towel, but not very successfully so he was quite damp when I picked him up. He just didn't like it, or being with strangers. He's such a mummy's boy lol

I'm sure it was more about the fact that mum had left her somewhere strange as you say. Tilly LOVES everyone, she even mugs the postmen for a fuss in the mornings on our walks, they all know her now and know her yapping at them is just an attention seeking device and not aggression, woe betide their ears if they ignore her BUT washing and drying freaks her out, that coupled with being left without mum, gobby or no, she would disolve into a quivering heap

Our Wendy is very good in the shower/bath and in the heat she's had quite a few as she get's some sort of skin condition, can't remember what the vet said it was! She's had special shampoo, pills and cream! Bigger medicine chest than me She's also very prone to want lots of attention but was very naughty one day when I was out, my husband let her in the garden with the window cleaner and she nipped his ankle He was fine about it, I blamed my husband of course but he still let's her have all her own way, utterly spoilt she is
