James, the build is looking really good well done. Can I offer a few ideas......what perches are you using, I assume dowelling. I have used that in my flight area but while at the local garden centre I came across some willow pea sticks/willow garden canes these I have zip tied on top of the doweling as it has give them a different thickness to the perches which in turn will exercise the feet. The plus side it also gives them something to chew at as they love willow bark. Are you having anything on the floor in the flight area , what works for me is childrens play sand or block paving sand, makes for an easy clean up... hth ...as said works for me As for budgie rings..... all I will say is each to there own regards the fitting of, it has been a topic on here before and there are lets say varying opinions on the subject... I will say no more Looking forward to the next update...cheers... steve

Can't offer any help with the pairings as never bred buds before, good luck with that
