I did not think I'd be posting in this section.....
It happens very rarely that I find an agg in the aviary, when I do it's usually cracked.
However at weekend Agatha was sat in a seed pot and acting strange, when I looked she was sat on two eggs. As she was trying to keep them warm I thought it best to give her the chance to have the chicks if possible. I don't really want to breed but I am not heartless enough to just remove the eggs.
I brought her, and Ralph her partner, inside. I got a nest box, shavings etc and put the eggs in. I put plenty of seed, veg, calcium and iodine in with them. I've covered the cage partially with a towel and put them in the dining room facing the patio doors near the radiator so they can have peace and quiet.
Both of them do go in the box frequently, but agatha doesn't seem to be incubating the eggs, nor has she laid any more.
I read about candling, and I can't be sure if the eggs are fertile or not. It's been 5 days since they were laid.
Do I leave them inside a while longer?
Not sure what to do. I don't want them kept away from the aviary if there will be no chicks, as I feel I'm causing them stress.

Moving them has put them off their stroke, i doubt if she will sit now but its not unheard of. If you wait a little longer she will probably start a new clutch
