The large one, yes; the small one, no. The medium, only if they are out most of the day ..... in fact that goes for the large one, as well; as long as your birds have plenty of out-of-cage time for exercise. Get the biggest cage you can afford in money and space; it won't be wasted.

What is the bar spacing? I didn't see anything to say. But have a look at the reviews. There are some unhappy people out there .....

The vision cages are manufactured with budgies and other small birds in mind. I had a vision large and the bar spacing was fine.

The large one with the 1cm bar spacing is suitable for budgies, I know they do a cockatiel cage too, so be aware of that. I have two of these and think they're great, but there is no sliding tray, so you have to move the top to a table to change the papers on the bottom. Or if you're nifty, you can get your hand through the side openings at the bottom sides, which is what I do in the mornings.
You do have to put the cage together yourself as it comes in pieces.

As Marianne Marlow has already mentioned when purchasing a budgie cage always ensure the cage bar spacing is at or as close to 1cm

Thank you it doesn't specify on the website the spacing measurements so I think i will go and have a look in store to make sure before purchasing.

I have my two boys in the large double height vision the L02 that has the smaller budgie spacing. The L12 is the bigger spacing cage at about 2cm. I think pets st home only sell the L12 because I ordered it then took it back when I realised.

I think if you go to the Hagen uk website, they give you all the measurements. When I bought mine, Zooplus was advertising something with the wrong measurements. I emailed Hagen when I had a query and they were really helpful and quick in getting back to me.

Thank you it turned out to be the l12 with the bigger spacing so going to look to see if I can either fine the l02 or a different cage completely.x
