Hi there, I'm new too this forum and need some quick advice if anyone can help. We have 3 pairs of breeders at the moment all in separate boxes. All have babies from a few days old up to 2 weeks old. The male in one of the boxes has had a stoke which has left him paralysed. He probably won't last the night. There are 4 babies left for the mother to attend too. (There was 5 originally but one already didn't make it.) Does anyone have any opinion on if the mother will manage alone or if we should foster any out to the other 2 pairs. We are experienced breeders but this is something that's never happened before. One pair already has 5 babies the other 6.

That's sad about your male, im sorry. In answer to your question, the hen will do just fine raising the 4 chicks
