I use the travel box that you use helenmat but I put a ladder inside for the budgie to stand on. I wedge the hooks into the slots on the box.

Vis-a-vis my thread about poor dear Ian, I was just thinking, maybe I could get a travel cage to take Eric over to Swindon for testing if/when I collect Ian. The best one I can see (without encroaching TOO much into my 'work' time!) that I could get on Amazon Prime (thanks to my dear sisters, who let me piggyback on their account!) - i.e. hopefully delivered earlyish tomorrow - is this one: www.amazon.co.uk/Friends-Tour-Transport-Bag-Birds/dp/B00FWY5IDI/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8Any thoughts?

Personally, I like the idea of a firm outer shell, rather than these soft things. I think it gives a bit more protection in any event.

Got to agree with Hezz there rose. Something with firm sides is better, imo that is.

Perfect rose. You might want to remove the top perch, or lower it - not so far to fall when travelling. I never put food in either unless it is a long journey, but take some water in a bottle with you, just in case.
