9 eggs ! Her body will be exhausted! what shall I give her? since she starts incubation she is not eating as before, the mineral block is old more than 7 months old, she never touched it!
I cannot take away the box since there are 2 eggs, right? and maybe today will be another one.. she lays every second day.
Sorry for bothering you and write so often about the same topic. But I love Rino so much, it is not psychological healthy to love a pet like this. But I cannot help it. I have deadline to write my doctoral thesis, but I cannot stop worrying about her

While the male is breaking the eggs she will keep laying more. It's the reason chickens lay eggs every day, because we take the one they laid the day before. She will lay until she has the amount she sees as enough. She will be using the calcium in her body to produce the shell so will need calcium to replace that or it will come from her bones. You can give her crushed eggshell mixed in with boiled egg. Has she got a cuttlebone? Does the male visit the mineral block and then feed her? When my hen laid eggs the male had a bit of all the supplements, mineral block, cuttlebone, egg with shell, then fed her, he would do this several times a day.

I took the male away to separate cage near her, he broke two eggs today too. I heard him hitting them with walls of the nest and she was angry screaming. I kept them inside the nest she has sat on them although they are broken so they stuck on her... see the photo! I needed to make for her bath with warm water to take them out without hurting her.
About food: I put for her cuttlebone, vitamins in water, egg powder with food.
How to stop her producing more eggs? The problem she recognized the fake eggs, I bought them from the vet, she threw them out and laid eggs instead of them. Please tell me how to break this cycle?

She will lay it where ever she is, probably on the floor, you will have to remove it and any others until she stops laying. To help with that you can shorten her daylight hours by turning off the lights earlier or moving her to a darker room. You can also change things in her cage so she feels less settled. Mover her toys around or change them for different ones.

As has already been mentioned by myself and now starlingqueen, you need to break her laying cycle, now that the remaining eggs are broken. This means removing her from him, shortening her daylight hours - put her to bed early, get her up later - change everything around in her cage, change her toys, perches, even food dishes, but most importantly remove the nest box, and anything else that might be in the cage that could be considered a nest by her. You are going to need to be creative. Also give her some calcivet in her water, each day. For while ever she is still producing eggs, at least.

Great, that should work as long as you change the daylight hours as well. They breed during the summer when the days are long so shortening the days will make her think breeding season is over.
