hi I got here some really good advices. Thank you. I hope you can help me out with this issue also. I do have 6 adult budigies at home. None is tamed. I do have 4 nestlings now. Here you can see how "tame" they were befor fledging.
i love them so much. Now the oldest one fly. He is on the playground with the adults, and guess what...he acts as the adults do. He now flies away when I climb the ladder to give them millet or veggies. A couple of days before he was as tame as seen on the video. The other 3 can not fly yet, I can pet them but how long..
I dont have another room, just a kitchen. I now will read the stickies. thank you

A lot of budgies don’t like being touched that much. Try and get them stepping up maybe tempt them with a treat. There are loads of threads about taming in the training section.

Babies are meant to learn from the older birds - how else would they learn to fly away in times of danger?? As none of your adults are tame, the babies are going to end up the same. You will need to keep them separate if you want them to stay tame and trusting, and spend heaps of time with them so that they keep that trust, and don't revert to being untame.

thank you I was afraid of that answer. So do I have to seperate them from the parrents too? They are still begging for food from them. Parrents are not tame.
Can I keep them in the kitchen thats not a good Idea, damn. They dont have to be that tame. I would love them to come to my shoulder or head or table. Maybe I could play balls with them. Cuddling is wonderful but not really neccessary.

That would depend on how old they are. Handle them lots now and in the future. If they are all over five weeks of age then they don't need their parents, but just make sure that they are all cracking seed for themselves. If you can keep them with the parents but still spend time with them for numerous times during the day for the time being, then good.
