What budgies can eat and what can't?

Hello everyone,i have 2 budgies male/female,and i was wondering what food should i feed them with?i'm feeding them with seeds mix it say it contains:yellow,white and red millet,canary grass seed,oat groats,flax seed,safflower seed,peanut,black sunflower seed,stripped sunflower seed,niger seed,white sorghum,red sorghum,corn flour,wheat flour,carotene,alfalfa meal i'm giving them that mix from the beggining,since i got them and with nothing else,they're around 2 months old i think and the man who i buyed them from said that they shouldn't eat any fruit until they get a bit older at least 2 months old,so is that true?Could i feed them with fruits and do they eat vegetables as well?if so,what kind of fruits and vegetables should i feed them with?and how much should they eat of it?Thank you.

This is a basic list. Less fruit, more vegetables. Oil seed should not form more than 5% of their diet.
