Hello everyone.. In May I’ve done a thread here about health concerns of my budgie. She (Pistache) had difficulties getting something out of her crop. It’s like there was something stuck. They gave her anti inflammatory medication. She took it for 5 days then it has stopped but then later one she was doing it again. So we took her to the vet and the man gave Pistache Baytril drops for 2-3 weeks. It has stopped and she was feeling better. (The treatment was finished last week. But yesterday we heard her again doing the same thing (neck/crop stretching like something is stuck and her EYE is like scary like she is scared or nervous) We looked on forums and i’m scared I’ll find her at the bottom of the cage and die. I nearly want to cry. We’ve decided to take an appointment for tomorrow to see. I was wondering if any of you had this problem before? We are scared and we feel alone (the video where her eyes are scary while having the neck crop stretching problem) <img src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/video-preview.png" video="<iframe width="560" height="315" src=" www.metacafe.com/embed/11935218/budgie3/" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>" alt="Video Preview"> And the other video is on my “Help” thread on my profile

Has she always made this sound? How old is she? It could be she was born like it. Is your vet an avian one or just a general one? Her tail seems to be bobbing too which could be more respiratory rather than something stuck. Let us know how you get on at the vet.

She is one years old and a few months.. The vet is an avian one. The tail started to bobb yesterday too... One week after the treatment was finished

Bless her. You have not got any strong odours or air fresheners around her cage have you? Or is she anywhere near where you cook? I think you will have to rely on the vet to help your little friend. Let us know how it goes please.

Did your vet do any tests on her last time?? I'm wondering if she might have something that is going to need a bit more than baytril to knock on the head; the baytril is helping her feel better in the short time but not curing her of the disease/infection whatever it might be. Something like a yeast crop infection, possibly AGY ... I don't know, I'm guessing ... I'm not a vet.
