I left for school for about 8 hours and forgot to close my bird cage. They both flew out, and normally this is fine because they return to their cage but my cat hunted one down and ended up clawing her. She now has a hole in her chest/stomach, and I also held her to see how deep it was. I believe I can see her stomach/intestines, or whatever that would be. I am not going to post pictures because I see no point, and they would be nearly impossible to get, but I wondered if you guys have any suggestions for literally anything I can do for her. Our vet does not work with birds.

Really you need an avian vet urgently. Where are you located?
Is the wound bleeding? - if so then stem the bleeding with cornflour.
Keep the bird calm, until you can see an avian vet.

Unfortunately I believe it was shortly after I left so the wound had stopped bleeding by the time I got back. The strange thing is is that she is acting perfectly normal - chirping, eating, singing?! It's very strange - I live in Houston but if the wound is as deep as it looks I am fairly confident there is nothing an avian can do.

The vet may be able to clean the wound and make sure it is not infected.

I mean as much as I love my budgies I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a cut that might be fine, or might be fatal even if I do take it to an avian.

Could your vet not put you in touch with a vet who does deal in birds.
This little bird urgently needs to see someone.

Also, she was not sitting in a cage full of blood, there were only a couple drops. I could have just seen torn skin, but either way she seems to be acting fine. I guess what I want to know if there is there anything I can do? In the end I am probably not going to take her to an avian. She seems to be acting ok. Also, just to be clear, the cat scratched her, not bit her.

To quote your first post "She now has a hole in her chest/stomach, and I also held her to see how deep it was. I believe I can see her stomach/intestines,"
If this was your cat, would we even be having a discussion about taking said cat to the vet?
We don't know the extent of the injuries, because we are not vets.

I don't want to be attacked for not wanting to take her to the vet, these budgies were supposed to be a low budget pet but I really don't want to lose her. How much do you think it would cost to take her to a avian? If it is under $60 I might consider it but I don't have the money to, it's really up to my parents in the long run. I want to know if there is anything I can do for her such as clean the wound with something.

You're not being attacked. I just care about your budgies welfare. There is no such thing as a low budget pet.
I'm afraid you'd have to call a few avian vets and get quotes, I'm in the UK and prices vary from £30-45 for a consultation, but it might be different where you are.

And to be honest I do value my cat over my budgies. I am not a mean/bad pet owner but I don't consider my pets children like some other people. I don't want to get to attached to them because of situations like this. Pretty much every pet in the past (excluding my cat) has died after a few days or a few months. I do not have a great experience with pets, so I have stopped getting too attached to them. If you know of anything I can do for her please let me know, if not, then I might consider taking her to an avian.

Well if there is absolutely nothing I can do for her I guess we are done here.

You have been given the best advice considering we are unable to see the wound and given from your descriptions.
Only thing I can add is that if it is a large hole then she would need to be seen by a vet to patch her up as there are also things that could have happened internally that you cannot see. Plus she would need antibiotics because cats are unclean when it comes to claws and teeth. This can cause infections to anyone including humans.
Because of the type of injury it is recommended that you see a vet.
I hope you manage to get her some help.
Post edit: If you came home from school are you old enough to pay for a vet visit?

not sure how it can be a large hole where you can see her insides, to possibly a scratch, not much blood and she is acting normally. No animal could be normal if the wound was that bad, well, sorry I should say I cannot see how.
If you cannot see a vet, then it might be a matter of time and seeing what's what.
If you are not wanting to get attached, especially to pets such as birds, not sure why you would have them in the first place.
