Noticed today that my blue parakeet, Remus, wasnt his normal chirpy self. Hes been very static all day hasnt been chirping much and usually hes the most talkative of my parakeets. My other birds appear healthy and normal, but remus isnt bothering his female companion or flying from perch to perch. This is the first time this week ive had a chance to clean their cage so i worked around his seat while i cleaned everything. This is also the first day ive noticed greener droppings coming from him. Hes a year and a couple months old now, the oldest of my birds. Hes always had a tail twitch (which ive read means he could have some repiratory problems but hes always been the most active and bright of my birds.) and today ive noticed little twitching from him. We dont have a vet near us thats comfortable caring for birds im basically the only one around who has them. Theyve been sick before and theyve all gotten better sooner or later but now he seems much more out of it. Im very worried about my lil guy.

I'm sorry he is feeling poorly. Guardian angel is always worth a try in their water, but if it is a respiratory infection then he needs a vet I'm afraid.
Is he making a clicking sound as he breathes?

No, he's not making any sounds. In the past couple hours he has moved around a little bit, atleast now he's sitting next to his food. He seems very careful about eating at his food usually he eats fast and looks up in between nibbles but right now he just seems too slowly bend down get food and come back up. But he seems a little chippier now that I turned the heat up. I did put some Guardian Angel in their water.
