In case you canโt make it out, itโs a piece of pasta. Naughty boy stole it while I was getting something out of the fridge.

All of the above. Out of the bowl on the kitchen bench. The look on his face and the body language when he knew he had been spotted was priceless. Usually when he steals something he will fly back to his perching tree which is in the kitchen, so only a short flutter away. This time it was like he knew that wasn't going to be far enough, so flew off back to his cage, hence the silly look in the second photo, even if not in focus.

I dropped a small ice cube onto the floor yesterday. He flew down and picked it up (before I could), flew back to his perch, had it in his claws for a good few seconds before it slipped out. He wanted it back, but couldn't get a good enough grip on it when I tried to hand it to him, all the while little ice cube was getting smaller and smaller.

Awww, love him You can tell I'm a new bird mum because I have to ask, "What is he?" To misquote Monty Python ... he may think he is the Messiah, but he's just a naughty boy!!! He's my other bird that isn't a budgie, as jellybean has already said, a sun conure. In size, a bit bigger than a cockatiel. He and the boy budgies are good mates but he hates my hen.
