I'm your basic city girl Marianne Marlow so I'm loving your pictures. Actually, I'm loving all the pictures. Usually the only views we see of UK are from movies and the news so these are quite refreshing. After I have another cup of coffee I'll venture out to my back deck and see what looks interesting.

Well done you for growing your own. Mine love wheatgrass. Try growing millet grass from the millet sprays, my two love that.

More great photos. That's a lovely park, jellybean . Is that your dog in the photo? This is my street in the snow, January 2010. And the next street along. We went out for a walk at 2 in the morning.

jellybean the wheat grass I bought has the roots attached and I've been just ripping off a bit and clipping it by the roots to his cage. I thought about seeing if I plant some, would it grow. I like the idea of millet grass. How do you clip the blades to the cage or do you just pull it up by the roots? Sorry Marianne Marlow for the side track.

No criswell, it was my Niece's dog, Mac, he died 4 years ago. What a great dog he was too, friendly, and loved cuddles, I miss him. He loved to go for long walks in this park. It's won the Green Flag award for several years in a row, it is so well looked after.

He looks like a lovely dog jellybean. I love dogs but none of my family or friends has one. Sometimes a parent will have a dog with them when they collect a student from a lesson so I sometimes get to make a fuss of them. I'm not surprised the park has won awards. tweetiepiesmom we hardly ever get snow like that here in Cardiff. You only have to go a few miles in land though for there to be lots of snow. I don't think there's been any snow anywhere in Wales this winter.
