I thought it might be nice, with all the doom and gloom to see photos of where you all live. Not your actual house of course, but just some of the local area. We went for a walk to the local shops yesterday and I took this along the way. There are so many buildings here, it has changed so much in the last 30 years (I sound old!)

I'm afraid my view very boring just a row of semi detached houses, most over 60 so quite quiet

That's a great photo Marianne, and this is a lovely idea for a thread. Like Suesbird my street isn't very exciting but I'll share some photos from my part of Cardiff. These are a few photos from a nearby park that I took a few years back. The statue was stolen a few years ago but they had a replica in storage so they were able to replace it. And this is a view from the top of the park looking out over Cardiff This is the spire of the local church as seen from my front gate just now.

This is called the Town Cross, even though it is just a ball on a pillar.
I live in a very small town, nothing much to see here really.

Here is my contribution but will add another later. As my area is pretty boring I managed to get this with the feral pigeons waiting and then coming down for their breakfast... 20200313_084012

This is the sunset on the promenade where I live. I always think it looks so pretty.

All lovely pics and a great thread. I meant to take one earlier, but forgot. Here’s one from a few months ago from my lounge

I'm afraid my view very boring just a row of semi detached houses, most over 60 so quite quiet I think you ought to put up a picture Sue, they are all very different views and not boring to other people. Will be putting mine up a bit later when I've got the phone out to take it.

I love everyone's photos. I'll take some more today and see what I've already got. I will admit that most of my pictures in the past few years have been of pets and people rather than places and views.
