I believe my Niko is about 3 mo. old. (The breeder isn’t sure of hatch date) he has head bars and just started his first molt. He refuses to try fruits and vegies. I put millet on them but he just picks it out without eating the fruit or vegies. I also try to get him to eat hard boiled egg but he won’t eat any. I feed him a pellet blend and seed mix. I know it’s important for him to eat fruits and vegies, how can I get him to eat them?

Will he even try them? How are you giving them to him?
My bud was most definitely fussy. Especially when quite young. He'd never take veg out of a food bowl either. We had most success with hanging stuff from the cage ceiling or through the cage bars. That way it almost seems more like a toy, to go and investigate when they are feeling brave, rather than to avoid when eating your seed.
Id keep trying lots of different things and try them multiple times and presented different ways. Hopefully you will just suddenly hit on something he will go for.
Baby spinach, basil leaves and tenderstem broccoli were what we eventually discovered! Good luck with it.

As said, you need to find what interests them individually. Some like small chop, mine have always preferred larger pieces, if only to be thrown about. I haven't met a bud who can go past carrot corn or snow peas. Also, be persistent; you are going to have to keep putting fresh veggies (fruit only occasionally - too much sugar) in the cage until one day the penny will drop. You could try a small slice of apple to help get him started.

For giving budgies the boiled eggs, I usually just mash up the boiled egg, add some nicely chopped fruits and/or veggies, some seed (millet, or just your budgies favorite seed, I use millet,) and sometimes I add some eggshell powder, for extra calcium. It may be a good way to give your budgies fruit and veggies too! Just add a bit more fruit and veggies to the mash. My budgies love it.
