hello there. I bolught a 6 months old budgie about 1 week ago. He was a bit shy at first but I slowly managed him to eat from my hand. I kept my hand still in his cage. Then he started to perch on my finger. But yesterday I realized he was making angry squeking noises for no reason and flying aroun aggresively (making sharp and fast turns ). Also he started biting on my finger sometimes when I try to pick him up to interact with him. But now he is on my hand and eating pellets. The bites are sooo painful. I dont know what to do. please help. How do I stop him from doing that?

Hello there and welcome to the forum.
Do you have a photo of your budgie?
As your budgie is very new (you only had them a week so far) it's probably just still scared of you and needs to learn to trust you.

Wow, really, by what I see in your pictures, she is very hand tame. She also looks like a girl, and they have harder bites (stronger beaks than the males). Females just have a strong urge to chew. You could get her a bird kabob, to chew on, or even a bird log, for her to really go to town. Sounds to me, mostly by your pictures, that she really is pretty tame. Another thing she would like is some fresh natural branches such as apple, pear, willow-there is a list of bird safe branches online.

Oh I didnt know it was a fmeale budgie. I thought male budgies haw that pink colour when they are young and after they grow up it turns to blue .Well since she is a Female she is going to lay eggs too. How should I approach to her like what can I do for her to make her comfortable when she lays eggs? Will she going to interact with me like she is doing now? Also she is verry playful and calm, not like before. She does not bite anymore. She pinches my skin sometimes but it seems like it is out of her cruosity so I try not to stop him or punish him. Like you said she chews on everything she could find XD .She is always with me no matter what I do. She is a happy birb swinging on her swing and throwing things off of the table I need all the help I can get so please dont hesitate to reply. Every bit of it helps. Thankyou all for your replies...
