So with two I was working with them inside and outside of the cage by having one in and one out. Even then it was hard to keep Yuki's attention at times because he'd be more interested in Indie than the millet. But with three... I'm either going to have to remove two or put two back inside! For a while 'training' might just be attempting to manage the chaos that is three budgies all wanting a share of the millet bobble I'm holding!

Nope! Loving it though. Though I still can't quite decide if I prefer the one-on-one bond or watching them all chase each other about like mad beasts! Both have their own merit.

Can you bring one into a different room for training? Or is that too stressful?

Both certainly do have merits; better to have too many buds around the millet than none! You'll figure it out, I'm sure.

Morgan Potentially. My bathroom is a tad small but I could take them to the small downstairs room. They already all respond to millet at the very least, and sometimes without, and usually to the taxi stick, so it's just the fine tuning. The main issues would be getting two of them familiar with the space, as Munchy already vaguely knows the room, and also if I wanted to do in-cage training I'd need to set up the Vision but take them down in the travel cage, because the travel cage isn't suitable. Hezz That is very true! The other two gobble so much faster than dainty nibbling Yuki! But he also hangs around the longest in the hopes of more. At least they all go back in the cage easily.
