Also, if someone could tell me what color would describe him best . Light yellow?

I think he is also a single factor yellow face type II. Mutations are not my forte so I’m possibly wrong.
Whether his cere goes blue or not depends on whether the cere is affected by the double factor mutation - sometimes it is, sometimes not. Recessive pieds do not get a blue cere, double factor dominants usually do, but not always.

His yellow color, as Hezz said, I think is single factor yellowface 2, but his main body color is actually sky blue I believe - based on the sea green color at the base of his tail. In the first photo it almost looks cobalt, but I think that’s just the lighting perhaps. But he has a lot of white in him from being I think df dom pied - which the sf yf2 spreads through, turning him mostly yellow. But he is a blue series bird. A very interesting one yellowfacedviolet could probably point out anything we are missing and give you a complete and concise answer.

I agree with Hezz and Morgan. Sol is Single Factor Yellowface Type II Sky Double Factor Dominant Pied. The SF Type II Yellowface is responsible for all the yellow on his body and wings. You mentioned rainbow, bjurczuk92, and Sol indeed possesses two of the required elements of rainbow--blue and yellowface, but lacks two others-- opaline and full-body greywing or clearwing, and he possesses one mutation which is not part of the rainbow formula--dominant pied.

That’s interesting info, I’ve never been too knowledgeable about the different mutations, there’s a lot to learn. The blue on him is definitely on the sky side as opposed to cobalt.
