We changed our air purifier filter yesterday. It looked like a whole fleece worth of dust! Amazing the amount of nasties it had filtered out of the air! As Eve would say - It's all yucky!

Imagine all that dust, etc was on the air filter and not in everyone's lungs!

Definitely! It's doing it's job. Makes the price we paid for it worth it. Plus the filters are £50 each. Imagine all that dust, etc was on the air filter and not in everyone's lungs!

Is it possible to clean that type of filter and re-use? Mine are washable.

Mine I think I can’t. I bought a spare when I got the unit as was offer. But I’ll look as that would be good.

I don't think so. It said it had to be replaced every 6 months. But it did last a lot longer than that before the light came on that told me to change it. Is it possible to clean that type of filter and re-use? Mine are washable.

Mine apparently incinerates stuff rather than using a filter. Though that does mean I have no real idea how well it's working.

You literally turn it on and leave it. samwiseg has the same one, I believe. Not sure how much smoke/ash you'd get from tiny particles, but it doesn't smell or anything.
