Yes, that will hopefully be helpful.
Not good for you having to feel like this in the meantime though.

O.K. thanks ffiscool, bones have healed, it's just getting the full use of my arm back. I can do lots of things, but cannot move my arm up to wash my hair, can do it by bending over the bath. Reaching out is a bit difficult. Am getting there slowly, thank you for asking. Still making use of my daughter's (Sam) walk-in shower and she helps me get dried in a few places (!!!) and get dressed. Onwards and upwards aye?

Shirls this is what I used from the physio to get the movement back. I did twice or three times a day and it is brilliant. Sorry ffiscool for posting on your thread 🤦♀️

No probs 😊
Saw the cons, sats not too bad. I’ll have X-ray and see him again in 4 weeks, monitoring at home for now. He said it was right the hosp didn’t do anti biotics, based on findings. He can still hear a few crackles but given the nature of covid being different to say a chest infection, they’re not as quick to dish out steroids as that can cause infections on already weakened immune system
I hadn’t appreciated pneumonitis is a pneumonia, when certain symptoms are present. He said mine was initially bad when I was admitted. He said I’m clearly prone to things/allergies and covid flared it. He mentioned the glass effect my scan had shown (that was what showed up with Bailey), which showed level of it
I can go back if things change, he said he’d fit me in
So, it’s a wait and see. Even though he’s been involved with helping during covid from day 1, it’s still quite unknown in certain areas, as so many react so differently, he said.

I think pneumonia is a type of pneumonitis meaning that it causes inflammation.
Hypersensitivity pneumonitis basically means that you inhale stuff that your body overreacts to and it fights itself and causes inflammation in your lungs.

I take steroids and another immune suppressing medication, so that my body doesn't react to the allergens and give me more lung scarring.
I know that route is not for everyone but having my budgies has improved my mental health dramatically, so I have to weigh up the pros and cons. My lung consultant doesn't understand that and said once "can't you just give them away and get a cat or dog?"
