Hi all
My mother lost one of her birds last week and i noticed an issue with the remaining one this morning . Its tail seems to being eaten and it has diarrhoea / loose poop . I have attached some pictures .
Hope someone can advise because my mum will be beside herself if she loses both in a week
Regards
Steve

Some better photos of the bird and it's surroundings may help. But I suggest that if your mum is this concerned that she should seek out an avian vet immediately as they are the only ones that can properly diagnose anything this serious.

One thing she might want to do is move the budgie to another cage and thoroughly clean the cage, perches, toys, food dishes, etc with F10 disinfectant. A visit to the vet would be needed to diagnose an illness.
