Is my budgie molting too often?

I've had Arthur for a year now and he has gone through molting about 5-10 times throughout the year. is this normal? I've read that it should only happen once a year during the winter period then I've read before that it can be normal for a budgie to molt every month? it would he safe to say I'm rather confused on what to believe. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

As long as there are no obvious bald patches there is no reason to worry about how often or not your bird moults. Inside birds will often moult if you start to use artificial heating/cooling or if the weather turns hot or cold suddenly.
