I suppose we can give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, he did only pick up Quincy for Coco's sake...

Chocobo sunbathing: In other news, my other sunshine girl, Isabeau, had to be rescued from behind the sofa this morning. I've spent a lot of time Isabeau-proofing the area around the sofa and her predicament presents a puzzle to me. It's possible that inadvertently moving the sofa had opened up a tiny crack in the defences but only a gerbil could have wriggled in through the gap. Isabeau being part-gerbil, clearly had no difficulty in squeezing through. I'm just grateful that she has a pair of dedicated staff, Whistle & Finarfin. By watching their behaviour, I get clues as to just what kind of mess Isabeau has gotten herself into "this time".

Breakfast time for Chocobo: The sound of frantic flapping warned me that Isabeau was on the move. This time, she literally landed in my lap while I sat on the sofa waiting for dinner to cook. Mr Hibs had relieved Whistle & Finarfin and was acting as Isabeau's minder: I cannot read Isabeau's expression in that last pic.

It was lunchtime and I needed the kitchen emptied so that I could fry up some bacon & eggs. Prothall was on his usual kitchen cupboard so I asked him politely to shift. While this went on, reinforcements arrived. Thanks a bunch, guys! I look back at Prothall but lo! another budgie has appeared! For good measure, Chocobo turned up. Lunchtime had to wait. The kitchen was full of birbs.

Looks like a busy mountaineering expedition. She's got them organised, gotta give her credit for that!

Chocobo surprised me on my way down the stairs. She turns up in totally random places sometimes. Mr Hibs has been roped in again on the stairs project: Chocobo nap-time Eeyore & Hector in conference: Feeding time for Maddy Prior. Thank you, Gurgeh! In other news, I stuck my head into the lounge earlier, Coco was actually on the sky snake in the centre of the room rather than her usual ones near the cages. It doesn't seem like a big deal but it is. Could she be coming out of her shell/comfort-zone?

Is her fluffiness sleeping on the water trough?

Is her fluffiness sleeping on the water trough? [...] no. Only my budgie hens and maybe Quincy would go to sleep on a water bowl

Is that Boba and Loric in the background (sorry if it's not Loric, I get him mixed up with Gurgeh)
